MAPLE GROVE, Minn., June 27, 2019 —GUARDIAN RFID, the global leader in inmate management and tracking systems, today announced that Sawyer County in Hayward, Wisconsin, is partnering with GUARDIAN RFID to manage, monitor, and track its 90-bed inmate population.

Before GUARDIAN RFID, Sawyer County had its central control officer do the bulk of their documentation, documentation, including movement and observations, on paper logs. Using this laboring way of tracking information, staff realized they were unable to quantify aspects of round compliance as the documentation didn't have enough in-depth details. Thus, leading to incomplete and inaccurate reports. Sawyer County recognized the need for a tool that manages their security rounds, inmate movements, and daily activity logging.

Now that Sawyer Co. will partner with GUARDIAN RFID in the coming months, they will have the software to capture a wide range of inmate activities, behavioral observations, inmate movements, program attendance, and court transports. With Mobile Command running on SPARTAN, an ultra-rugged Android device, staff can document their security-critical workflows and automate actionable insight with a few clicks of a button. Mobile Command will also enable staff to capture image and video assets during cell checks uploaded to OnDemand, the GUARDIAN RFID Cloud. OnDemand will allow staff to gain real-time situational awareness and monitor security rounds with ease.
