Mike McKee is the Director of Strategy and Business Development at GUARDIAN RFID.  McKee has been working closely with Law Enforcement and Public Safety for close to fifteen years, with a passion for working with agencies to set them up for success in a difficult environment.

McKee realized early in his career that working with Law Enforcement professionals was a great fit for him.  He started working in the Public Safety technology field in 2009 with New World Systems, spending a majority of his time in Sales.  He has worked with agencies across the entire country and enjoys learning the different flavors every agency brings to the industry.

McKee transitioned to focus solely on the Corrections Industry in 2017 after New World Systems was acquired by Tyler Technologies, and is a firm believer that corrections professionals are in need of the same technology advancements and attention that all public safety departments receive.  He believes that if correctional officers have the right data available to them at the right time, creating a safer and more aware facility, that both officers and inmates will have a better chance of success.

Born in Minnesota and raised in Michigan, McKee has resided in Detroit for most of his life.  A big fan of Detroit sports, he also played college basketball and baseball.  Now that his playing days are over, he has transitioned into different styles of competitions, including obstacle races and other athletic events.  A graduate of Albion College, McKee and his wife Jessika are active in his church and community and are proud parents of their two children, Liam and Lily.
