Idaho jail rolls out ultra-rugged Android devices and RFID tags to measure and monitor jail standards compliance.

MAPLE GROVE, Minn., January 18, 2018 /PRNewswire—GUARDIAN RFID, the global leader in inmate management and tracking systems, today announced the Payette County Detention Center (Payette, Idaho) has gone-live with GUARDIAN RFID.

Payette Co. Sheriff's Office operates its 72-bed detention facility and is using GUARDIAN RFID to maximize cell check compliance with Idaho Jail Standards. Prior to GUARDIAN RFID, Payette Co. Jail had used Guard1, a guard tour solution from TimeKeeping Systems. The jail, led by Staff Sergeant Brian Bullington, chose to migrate to GUARDIAN RFID because of its speed and simplicity, and superior data collection and Cloud reporting tools.

The deployment of GUARDIAN RFID at Payette Co. Detention Center also includes interfacing with their jail management system from Logan, Utah-based eFORCE.

Payette Co. staff are using SPARTAN, the ultra-rugged Android from GUARDIAN RFID running Mobile Command software, including hardened RFID tags strategically deployed throughout the facility to automate a wide range of data collection and reporting, including security checks and cell checks, headcounts, inmate programs attendance, and other inmate activity logging.

The GUARDIAN RFID Cloud, OnDemand, will also help Payette Co. gain real-time situational awareness, monitor security round performance, and access activity streams and reporting tools from anywhere.
