How Command Cloud Is Priced
Command Cloud is priced on two factors: your average daily population and the edition you choose.
Average daily population is the number of individuals in your facility on a typical day. Not rated bed capacity; actual daily count.
A 500-bed facility running at 60% occupancy shouldn’t pay the same as one at 100%. Higher daily count means higher licensing tier. Lower count, lower tier.
Four editions (Defender, Standard, Professional, and Enterprise) scale from small county jails to multi-facility state agencies.
Base Software Pricing by Edition and Facility Size
The table below shows annual base software licensing for Command Cloud. Prices are determined by your average daily population (ADP) and your chosen edition.
Some packages, including all at 1,000 ADP and below, include SPARTAN devices, hard tags, and onsite training. Other editions and tiers quote hardware, training, add-on applications, integrations, and wearable consumables separately.

What Can Increase Your Cost
Add-On Applications
Optional applications like Medication Manager, Operational Intelligence, and third-party integrations each carry their own line-item fee. You only pay for what you deploy.
Complex Integrations
SSO with your identity provider (like Microsoft Entra ID) carries an annual fee that scales with your license tier. Custom API integrations may involve professional services fees.
Hardware
SPARTAN devices can be subscribed to for a low annual fee. Device count depends on your staffing model and facility layout.
JMS Interface Fees
Your JMS vendor, not GUARDIAN RFID, may charge a fee to interface with Command Cloud. Standard industry practice, but outside our control. Recommendation: Have your IT team use our WolfPack REST API to build the interface directly. Most teams build it in an afternoon. GUARDIAN RFID does not charge for a one-way interface.
Wi-Fi and Video Camera Infrastructure
GUARDIAN RFID does not sell, install, or support Wi-Fi or video cameras. If your facility needs infrastructure upgrades, those costs come from your networking vendor.
Wearable Consumables
RFID wristbands, ID cards, desktop readers, and laminators are quoted separately from your system renewal fee.
