Description

MAPLE GROVE, Minn., November 15, 2022 —GUARDIAN RFID, the global leader in inmate management and tracking systems, today announced that Liberty County Sheriff’s Office in Hinesville, Georgia—has selected GUARDIAN RFID for its county jail to manage, monitor, and track its inmate population.

Liberty Co. has an average daily population of nearly 250 inmates. Prior to discovering GUARDIAN RFID, Liberty Co. used Life Check Systems for its inmate tracking needs including managing security rounds, inmate movements, and daily activity logging. This manual approach to logging information lacked internal staff collaboration and operational awareness. Liberty Co. staff noticed the extensive communication challenges and poor measurable outcomes and realized the need for a stronger, more comprehensible technology platform.

With GUARDIAN RFID’s ability to execute inmate management objectives and automate actionable, security-critical workflows, Liberty Co. will deploy SPARTAN, an ultra-rugged Android device that runs Mobile Command software along with hardened RFID tags to capture a wide range of inmate activities, behavioral observations, inmate movements, program attendance, and court transports. Mobile Command will also enable staff to capture the image and video assets during cell checks uploaded to OnDemand, the GUARDIAN RFID Cloud. OnDemand will allow staff to gain real-time situational awareness and monitor security rounds and positive ID headcount performance.
