MAPLE GROVE, Minn., December 20, 2020 —GUARDIAN RFID, the global leader in inmate management and tracking systems, today announced that the Dona Ana County Detention Center in Las Cruces, New Mexico, will go live with GUARDIAN RFID to manage, monitor, and track its 700+ inmate population.
Following a lawsuit regarding alleged indifference, Dona Ana County Detention Center found GUARDIAN RFID’s Operational Intelligence dashboard feature, particularly the "Active Special Statuses”, very intriguing. Dona Ana County Detention Center will be implementing Mobile Command running on SPARTAN, an ultra-rugged Android from GUARDIAN RFID. Mobile Command will also enable staff to capture image and video assets during cell checks uploaded to OnDemand, the GUARDIAN RFID Cloud. OnDemand will allow staff to gain real-time situational awareness and monitor security rounds and positive ID headcount performance.
After GUARDIAN RFID implementation and training, Dona Ana Co. correctional officers will have the ability to automate actionable security-critical workflows in order to capture a wide range of inmate activities, behavioral observations, inmate movements, program attendance, and court transports.
