MAPLE GROVE, Minn., September 29, 2020 —GUARDIAN RFID, the global leader in inmate management and tracking systems, today announced that the Wells County Sheriff’s Office in Bluffton, Indiana will go live with GUARDIAN RFID to manage, monitor, and track its 90-bed population.
Prior to discovering GUARDIAN RFID, Wells County Sheriff’s Office used two work computer stations to log all general activities directly into their electronic round system, Spillman. However, with officers constantly working on the computers and time timestamps logged incorrectly, reporting became a cumbersome task. This manual, siloed approach to logging information lacked internal staff collaboration and operational awareness. Wells Co. realized the need for a platform that securely manages security rounds, inmate movements, and daily activity logging.
Wells Co. looks forward to implementing GUARDIAN RFID in the coming months and watching, first-hand, the execution of their inmate management objectives with Mobile Command capture a wide range of inmate activities, behavioral observations, inmate movements, programs attendance, and court transports. Mobile Command will also enable staff to capture image and video assets during cell checks uploaded to OnDemand, the GUARDIAN RFID Cloud.
