MAPLE GROVE, Minn., August 27, 2020—GUARDIAN RFID, the global leader in inmate management and tracking systems, today announced that the Monona County Sheriff’s Office in Onawa, Iowa plans to go live with GUARDIAN RFID to manage, monitor, and track its growing inmate population.
After Sheriff Pratt visited a neighboring county and noticed the ease of use with GUARDIAN RFID wristband and compliance monitor technology, Monona Co. was interested in learning more about Mobile Command running on SPARTAN along with RFID Wristbands, hardened RFID tags, and ForceField fixed RFID readers.
With several officers experiencing problems with cumbersome paper log reporting, the Monona Co. team realized the need to capture a wide range of inmate activities, behavioral observations, inmate movements, program attendance, and court transports. After deploying GUARDIAN RFID technology, correctional staff will use a platform that unifies the execution of their inmate management objectives, using RFID, the Cloud, and mobile to automate actionable security-critical workflows.
