MAPLE GROVE, Minn., September 27, 2019 —Mineral County Sheriff’s Office (Hawthorn, Nevada) has partnered with GUARDIAN RFID to roll out its inmate management system that automatically captures a wide range of inmate activities, behavioral observations, and inmate movements and transports.
GUARDIAN RFID will streamline the Mineral Co. jail with an array of hardened RFID tags, RFID Wristbands, and ultra-rugged Android devices called SPARTAN, to manage, monitor, and track inmates using Mobile Command, corrections' most widely deployed mobile application. Previously searching for a solution to increase officer accountability, the Mineral Co. staff will now use GUARDIAN RFID technology that documents data at the point of responsibility. This includes inmate meal offerings, program attendance, and medication administration records which will help reduce inmate complaints and future litigation while increasing compliance efficiency with Nevada standards. GUARDIAN RFID will also enable staff to share and communicate information faster and more comprehensively than ever, thanks to its Cloud-based platform, OnDemand.
