MAPLE GROVE, Minn., July 24, 2020 —GUARDIAN RFID, the global leader in inmate management and tracking systems, today announced that Stanislaus County Sheriff’s Office in Ceres, Texas—has selected GUARDIAN RFID for its county jail to manage, monitor, and track its inmate population.
Stanislaus Co. has an average daily population of over 600 inmates and currently uses paper logs to manage security rounds, inmate movements, and daily activity logging. The team realized this manual, siloed approach to logging information lacks internal staff collaboration and operational awareness and majorly affects compliance with jail standards. After learning about GUARDIAN RFID technology, the team was eager to adopt a platform that unifies the execution of their inmate management objectives, using RFID, the Cloud, and mobile to automate actionable security-critical workflows.
After officers deploy SPARTAN, the ultra-rugged Android from GUARDIAN RFID running Mobile Command software, inmates will be issued RFID Cards for facility-wide inmate identification, tracking, and management capabilities along with hardened RFID tags strategically located throughout their facility to automate a wide range of data collection and reporting logged at the point of responsibility.
