MAPLE GROVE, Minn., June 29, 2020 — GUARDIAN RFID, a global leader in inmate management and tracking systems, announces the Felmers O. Chaney Correctional Center (Milwaukee, Wisconsin) will deploy GUARDIAN RFID in its 250-bed prison in the following year.
Located on the northern outskirts of Milwaukee, Felmers O. Chaney Correctional Center is digitally transforming its inmate management objectives with the Command & Control platform to automate its inmate tracking, and security rounds including face-to-face cell checks, and other activity logging in real-time to streamline compliance.
GUARDIAN RFID will replace the facility’s long-standing practice of logging rounds, headcounts, incidents, and movement on paper and in its internal offender management system. With Felmers O. Chaney Correctional Center team members deploying SPARTAN, the ultra-rugged Android from running Mobile Command software, correctional officers will be able to gain real-time situational awareness, monitor security round performance, and access activity streams and reporting tools from anywhere, while working with its jail management system.
With just a few clicks of a button, staff will have the technology for facility-wide inmate identification, tracking, and management capabilities to strategically automate a wide range of data collection and reporting logged at the point of responsibility.
