Description

MAPLE GROVE, Minn., Oct. 17, 2022 — GUARDIAN RFID, a global leader in inmate management and tracking systems, announces the Brazos County Juvenile Services Department (Bryan, Texas) has deployed GUARDIAN RFID in its inmate population facility.

Located over 100 miles east of Austin, Brazos Co. is digitally transforming its inmate management objectives with GUARDIAN RFID to automate its inmate tracking, and security rounds including face-to-face cell checks, and other activity logging in real-time to streamline compliance.

After experiencing documentation and downloading errors with their previous guard tour system, Guard 1’s “PIPE”, Brazos Co. staff was ready to implement a new, more-advanced, technology that works quickly and accurately. Needing the ability to easily pull reports and identify trends, Brazos Co. looks forward to implementing GUARDIAN RFID’s SPARTAN, the ultra-rugged Android, along with hardened RFID tags for facility-wide inmate identification, tracking, and management capabilities.

The GUARDIAN RFID Cloud technology will also help Brazos Co. correctional officers gain real-time situational awareness, monitor security round performance, and access activity streams and reporting tools from anywhere, while working with its jail management system. After the implementation and training, Brazos Co. staff will be able to automate a wide range of data collection and reporting logged at the point of responsibility with just a few clicks of a button.
